Joe Was Right

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

Joe Wilson called Obama a liar when Obama said in his now infamous speech, that illegals would NOT be covered in the “Health Reform” bill. And Obama called those who would say otherwise as fearmongering hysterics. (Paraphrase added)

No illegals. Period. End of discussion.

Then, just a couple of days ago, he tells the Hispanic caucus that it would be a good idea to address the illegal issue so that no one would be left out from being covered by health reform.

My take on this:

No illegals would be covered
This would not be a government takeover of health care
By making illegals legal, they would be covered by government healthcare

???

As I said before, this man is just a cog in the Democratic/special interest machine. And his allegiance to these special interests mean an ever increasing debt and internal strife within the US for decades to come.

He’s a liar. Pure and simple. But he’s an eloquent one. Which is what makes him so dangerous. He reminds me of the guys who would smoothly try to talk me out of my virginity way back in the day … if it’s done right, you can get them to believe anything you say and willingly give up everything they believe in because you are, after all, *you.*

The problem with Obama is that he’s the President of an entire nation. His experience is that of Chicago-style politics, which doesn’t play well on the big American stage. His being President with his background and experience is kind of like my being a dentist just because I keep my teeth healthy and white. The qualifications are a bit more than that, I’d say. The good thing (at least for the teeth of America) is that I can’t be voted into dental office because everyone knows that I’m not qualified. Too bad that same thinking cap wasn’t on when Obama was running.

2012 can’t come soon enough.
