Conservative in a Sea of Liberals
Sometimes being the only conservative in a morass of liberals can be trying, to say the least. I feel that many have come to expect the government to take care of them in every way (“Europe does it!”) and have no concept of self-determination or personal responsibility. And they’re *sincere* about it!
I had an adventure last night with some very liberal friends (whom I love very much), who are, in my opinion, brain-damaged. And I’ll leave it at that.
Meanwhile, I still have plenty to say about everything, but I must take care of “real life” right now and take a rest from the day job which is kicking my (substantial) butt.
